Royal Phnom Penh Hospital and CambodiaRe BlueVenture Co., Ltd. (CRBV) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide healthcare services and personal accident insurance coverage to their clients.
CRBV is a joint venture between Cambodia Reinsurance (CamRe) and BlueVenture Group Public Company Limited (BVG). It offers support services for managing health and personal accident insurance claims for life insurance companies, general insurance companies, and self-insured organizations. This collaboration aims to enhance healthcare access for clients covered by health and personal accident insurance.
The MoU signing ceremony took place on July 19, 2024, with notable attendees including Mr. Suthon Chutiniyomkarn, CEO of CRBV, and Professor Attapoom Susupaus, Director of Royal Phnom Penh Hospital.
Mr. Suthon Chutiniyomkarn emphasized the company’s dedication to improving the claims process for health and personal accident insurance and enhancing customer well-being through advanced digital systems and cutting-edge technology. He noted that the partnership with Royal Phnom Penh Hospital is intended to streamline the claims process, reduce patient burden, and allow patients to focus more on their health.
According to Mr. Chutiniyomkarn, the MoU marks a major step towards creating a seamless experience where patients can receive prompt care without financial stress, ensuring high standards of care and easy access to hospital services without upfront payments or prolonged waits. Both CRBV and Royal Phnom Penh Hospital are committed to delivering excellent services and value to their clients.
Professor Attapoom Susupaus, Director of Royal Phnom Penh Hospital, remarked that the MoU represents a significant advancement in their ongoing efforts to provide high-quality healthcare to the Cambodian population. He added, “We are confident that this collaboration will not only benefit both institutions but, more importantly, enable customers to focus on their health and well-being without undue financial stress.”
Under this MoU, CRBV customers will benefit from special discounts on medical services, improving their access to quality healthcare.
